HOME magazine to relaunch

After a brief hiatus following Bauer’s exit from New Zealand in April, the country’s longest-established architecture magazine will relaunch to the market in December.

Now owned by Parkside Media, HOME will be headed up by editor Clare Chapman and commercial director Nat Davis.

“We’re incredibly excited to relaunch this iconic publication in New Zealand. It is a treasured title with a long history that has an important place in Aotearoa’s media landscape,” Chapman says.

“Our architecture deserves to be celebrated and HOME will continue to do just that. In a changing media landscape, we look forward to staying true to the intentions of the brand while developing an integrated, omni-channel publication for New Zealanders to enjoy.”

The much-celebrated Home of the Year Awards will also be relaunched in 2021, with more details to come.

“Bringing HOME back to the New Zealand market offers real opportunity. There will always be a place for magazines as part of an integrated offering spanning multiple channels,” Davis says.

“I’m looking forward to working with our key brand partners as we deliver an innovative and collaborative publishing model to take HOME into the future.”

The next issue of HOME will be on sale in December.
