Teads expands presence in ANZ

Global Media platform Teads has boosted its Australian and New Zealand operations with three new senior hires.

The platform, which allows advertisers to connect to some of the world’s best publishers, has appointed Claire Stapleton as AdOps Associate Director (previously working at Teads UK) and Peter Maher as Director Partnership Development with past experiences at Australia’s Nine, Freewheel and GroupM.

The company is also expanding, launching an office in Auckland to be led by Ben Osborne, Business Director. Osborne has past experiences at AdYouLike, Outbrain.

“There are a lot of challenges at present in the digital advertising space, and with video, ‘attention’ is the new currency. Teads provides consumers with a non-forced experience & flexible buying metrics which are quite unique in principle,” says Osborne.

Remi Lafon, Managing Director at Teads ANZ, says that the team is delighted to be able to appoint someone of Osborne’s calibre and experience to launch its operations in New Zealand.

“Ben brings an extensive level of expertise to Teads, and those who have worked with Ben before know he is extremely passionate about new media technologies that can truly make a difference for clients, agencies & publishers alike, especially in their quest to move the needle on measurable results,” Lafon says.

Teads ANZ is now set to offer a wide range of additional benefits to advertisers such as data services, outcome-based optimisation and full-funnel solutions powered by the creative support of Teads Studio. Australian and Kiwi publishers will also benefit from Teads in order to grow their advertising revenues with a business model that did not exist before.
