NEW YORK, Today: FCB NZ seems likely to benefit from an AU NZ alignment of the strategic & creative accounts for the New Zealand launch of General Motors Specialty Vehicles.
IPG Mediabrands’ performance agency Reprise Australia has been awarded the business – and Interpublic Media Group owns FCB NZ, which handles all IPG business in this country.
At press time, there’d been only the announcement from IPG in NYC – nothing yet from FCB NZ, but we can expect one shortly. Reprise has no offices in NZ.
“Silverado Trail Boss and the Corvette C8 are iconic GM marques and will be available in NZ fully converted to right-hand drive.”
Reprise was awarded the business after a series of international and national presentations and the appointment will be the first time General Motors Specialty Vehicles (has advertised in New Zealand.
In the coming months Reprise/FCB will assist GMSV in new-model launches of the Silverado Trail Boss and mid-engine supercar the Corvette C8. Both are iconic international General Motors marques and will be available in New Zealand fully converted to right-hand drive.
Melbourne-based GM marketing manager Jodie Lennon said: “We chose Reprise for our strategy and creative assignments because of their vision for how various communications channels can be harnessed to promote our vehicles.
Sydney-based Reprise head of strategy Marcelo Andrade said: “The new assignment from GMSV is an opportunity to help launch new products into New Zealand with a different communications platform.”
