Following a competitive pitch, premium mixer brand Fever-Tree has appointed Boyd PR to handle its media relations and social media in New Zealand.
The Newmarket-based agency and media partner MediaCo have been tasked with developing an earned and paid media strategy to effectively communicate Fever-Tree’s brand values and help grow its market share.
Fever-Tree released their first tonic in 2003 with one simple premise: if three quarters of your G&T is the tonic, wouldn’t you want it to be the best?
Since then, the company has expanded its drinks portfolio to include gingers, colas, lemonades and sodas.
Brand Manager for Fever-Tree in New Zealand, Mathew Jamieson, says the company has ambitious growth plans over the next few years and is excited to have Boyd PR and MediaCo on board to help.
“Fever-Tree has largely driven growth in the mixer category in recent years, so it’s important that we continue to stand out in what is quickly becoming a crowded market.
“Boyd PR’s experience and success with earned media relations and social media is ultimately why we selected them to help grow our business.”
Managing Director at Boyd PR, John Boyd, says it has been a busy first half of the year with existing clients continuing to ramp up activity and Fever-Tree being just one of several new client wins.
“We’re excited to be partnering with such a great brand as Fever-Tree and to continue growing our portfolio of consumer clients.”
