LENS Outdoor, Globox partner for national rollout

LENS NZ has partnered with Hamilton-based digital display specialists, GloBox, in a move that will see the new out of home company widen its national network using audience measurement technology.

The partnership means GloBox will use LENS’ unique technology platform to provide advertisers with market leading transparency and proof of performance from their screens.

LENS Outdoor provides world-first technology to provide real-time traffic measurement – both pedestrian and automotive movement – via high-resolution cameras and unique number plate recognition technology.

Marketers and agencies can then access this information and live stream images of the billboards via an easy to use dashboard, giving them granular detail on reach and frequency of campaigns as well as transparency on the ad’s share of voice on that site.

Globox Founder and CEO, Allan Nicholson, says: “This partnership creates the ability for Globox to provide real-time data to our clients and gives us further credibility and the ability to supply complete transparency, putting us ahead of our peers in the same space.

“We are looking forward to working with LENS over the coming years and enjoying the benefits of such an intelligent reporting platform.”

Robin Arnold

LENS Chief Technology Officer, Robin Arnold, says: “Advertisers are crying out for real and effective measurement in the OOH space, and Lens is the only system which gives that. This partnership gives Globox a genuine competitive advantage with the ability to provide accurate data across all their sites to clients.

“LENS is the perfect way to help this young and ambitious digital billboard operator grow its network across regional New Zealand. Digital OOH is immediate, flexible and dynamic by nature and LENS quantifies road-based traffic audiences in real-time like no other platform in the world, meaning Globox will have a unique positioning for their clients.”
