AUCKLAND, Thursday: The Make-A-Wish Foundation has formalised its appointment of Mindshare NZ as its agency partner. The foundation is a charity with a mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The identity of any incumbents was not known at press time.

The enhanced partnership, effective immediately, aims to “elevate” the foundation’s digital marketing strategy in NZ, increase and nurture donors, drive brand awareness and ultimately raise more funds. 

Chris Riley, ceo of Mindshare parent GroupM NZ said: “The new global positioning was introduced by Mindshare earlier this year. Its objective is to align business ambitions with community and consumer values to drive enduring, diversified, and sustainable growth.

“Mindshare has previously worked with the foundation, supporting the charity’s annual Hope campaign and World Wish Day. The official partnership will build on this, driving long-term and sustainable growth for the charity.

Make-A-Wish NZ ceo Pam Elgar said: “After successfully partnering with Mindshare for previous campaigns, it’s an exciting step forward to formalise this partnership.

“Mindshare will play an important role in implementing a highly effective digital marketing strategy that connects us with more audiences. This will ensure we continue to remain dedicated to fulfilling our mission of granting the wishes of critically ill children.”
