Contagion celebrates new senior hires

CEO and Contagion Founder, Dean Taylor has announced the appointment of Oliver Maisey as ECD and Rebecca Lloyd to the newly created position of GM of Contagion Media.

Taylor explains: “Both Ollie and Rebecca bring fantastic experience and smarts to the table; we knew straightaway they were the people to take the agency to further success. We have a fully integrated media, marketing and creative proposition for our clients, and they have an absolute passion for holistic thinking that gives our clients solutions that see the bigger picture.”

Lloyd has over twenty years of NZ agency experience, most recently at OMD for six years, where she managed a broad portfolio of clients including AA Insurance, Asahi & Beiersdorf.

Says Lloyd of her appointment: “I’m really delighted to be joining the Contagion team.  This is an exciting opportunity to help to shape and grow the Contagion Media offering as a thriving independent and to have a real impact on the work for clients and, ultimately, on client business results.”

Maisey is an international award-winner, several times over, with 30 years experience in multinationals, social agencies, and production agency hybrids.

“I’ve been a fan of Contagion’s modern world marketing approach – cunningly blending business solutions with creative ones – for a good while now. Dean’s assembled a great team of diverse thinkers and I’m delighted to now count myself one of them,” says Maisey.

Taylor further adds: “Over the last 12 months our new client wins have just been phenomenal, these include: Toitu, Good George Brewing, Kernel Wealth, Hafele, Thermomix, NZOnAir and IMS Projects. These are great additions to our existing client base of fantastic, New Zealand companies who have commissioned new work to run both here and globally.”
