Republik appoints new Account Director

Republik Communications has welcomed Julia Davies to the agency in the role of Account Director to bolster its client services team.

Davies returned from four years suiting in the UK, working for Rapp London, Karmarama and LADbible before returning to NZ during the first lockdown in 2020, taking up a role as Account Director at Federation. Here she worked accounts including L’Oréal, Auckland Unlimited and Auckland Council, before heading back to university to complete her master’s degree.

She joins Republik to lead and take over account service responsibility on the Selleys, ThinkSafe, Mr Rental and Active Healthcare’s accounts.

“Republik’s a fantastic agency made up of a team of really talented people that like working hard and having a lot of fun along the way. They’ve got an impressive client portfolio that provides me with a great variety of work and challenges. There is so much opportunity to produce amazing work that will move the needle for our clients, and that’s what I love. I’m really happy to be here,” says Davies.

Republik Director, Paul McNamara adds: “It’s always good to bring on a new Republikan, but to get someone with Julia’s experience and ambition is a real bonus. She brings an abundance of talent and leadership that will without doubt benefit our client partnerships and the brands we work with. We’ve got some exciting projects ahead of us, so we’re stoked to have Julia on board.”
