ThreeNow has unveiled its new brand campaign StreamFreeNow with the help of creative agency True and production company Made.
“This strategic approach was all about cutting through the fluff,” says Debbie Currie, Group Business Director at True.
“ThreeNow is no bills, no price hikes, and no need to share accounts. Just direct access to all the great entertainment you want for free.”
The video element of the campaign features comedian Angella Dravid navigating through some of ThreeNow’s hit content, while the outdoor and digital executions call out the everyday challenges consumers experience in the subscription streaming service landscape.
Director Jess Reihana says the campaign was a great opportunity to have fun with some of the platforms favourite shows “and to work with a super-talented comedian like Angella”.
“Angella is the perfect fit for this campaign,” says Reuben Wiremu, Senior Manager, Brand Marketing ANZ at Warner Bros. Discovery.
“Her dry sense of humour is exactly what we needed to take on the category pain points and create a bold and distinctive personality for ThreeNow, while showcasing the amazing breadth and depth of our content.”
Kendall Bascetta, Senior Brand Manager at Warner Bros. Discovery says this positions ThreeNow as an entertainment destination.
“There’s hundreds of shows and thousands of hours to stream – whether it’s reality, survival, drama, romance – it’s all here, and all for free. In this campaign, we see Angella exploring ThreeNow’s shows – we’re excited for New Zealand to do the same.”
The campaign is live across TV, online, OOH, radio, print and on social.
