MBM is preparing to deliver strategy at every level, appointing Amy Greene as a Strategy Director and promoting Loren Smith to the role of strategist.
Previously a Strategy Director at Dentsu Aegis Network, Greene has had extensive experience across all areas of strategic media thinking within a wide range of categories, with notable accounts including Air New Zealand, Countdown, ASB, TVNZ and Southern Cross.
Penelope Brown, MBM Auckland’s Managing Director, says MBM has always been passionate about discovering insights that really matter and drive great media strategy and business results for clients.
“Strategy has been embedded throughout our organisation from day one, but we’re also seeing huge opportunity for our clients to take advantage of the rate of change in our market and we need to support them further in taking action within these moments.
“Throughout her career Amy has been one of the most progressive and future focussed strategists in the industry. Her approach is something we would like everyone in our organisation to learn from.
“The agency is on an exciting trajectory. I’m excited about continuing the great thinking and work the agency produces to provide value across such a variety of clients. The talent at MBM is second to none, and I’m pumped to be working alongside such a nice bunch of humans to help write the next chapter in the MBM story.”
Alongside Greenes’s appointment MBM have also promoted Loren Smith in Wellington to the role of Strategist.
“Loren is one of our rising stars. We identified early on in her media planning career that she had a real knack for media strategy and now is the right time to have her support our strategic offering in market,” says Brown.
In the last year MBM has experienced the strongest growth in the New Zealand market of any media agency according to RECMA 2022.
