DDB Group Aotearoa and Vodafone, soon to be One NZ, are catapulting into summer with the launch of their ‘One Awesome Summer’ campaign.
This campaign focuses on everything Kiwis love about the warmer months and signals the telco’s name change to One NZ
Matty Burton, Group Chief Creative Officer at DDB Group says the campaign lends itself to the unrestrained and carefree way in which Kiwi’s will experience summer this year after a few tricky years being locked down.
“This is the first summer in quite a while where everything is open, we can move about freely and we have no restrictions. Just like a crowd clamouring for one more song, we wanted the campaign to translate into that excitement – hyping up an awesome summer to remember.
“The campaign alludes to both the big and small moments that make up an unforgettable summer. From one huge roadie or one epic night, it’s all about a season that is one for the gram, one for the crew and ultimately, one for the ages.”
Katherine Kazalbash, Marketing COE Lead at Vodafone NZ says, the countdown is on to an awesome summer.
“While we continue to invest in simpler, better products, services and in our network, we’re helping make Aotearoa even more awesome. As we move towards One NZ, we’re ready for a lot of fun this summer, being there every step of the way.”
The campaign is now live across TV, cinema, outdoor, digital/web, social media, radio, EDM.
