Run CCO named judge at D&AD

AUCKLAND, Today: Run co-founder/CCO, Raymond Otene McKay (Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Rongomaiwahine, Ngaati Maahuta) has been appointed to the Digital jury for the D&AD Awards 2023.

Last week McKay was also named as an executive judge for the Axis Awards 2023.

Says McKay, “It makes sense for Indigenous creativity and perspectives to be recognised on international juries. Māori have a long history of creative and commercial innovation, as does Run, so I’m stoked to be representing that legacy on a global stage.”

“McKay will attend the D&AD awards ceremony in London in May, which will be held in-person for the first time since 2019.”

McKay will be attending the D&AD awards ceremony and festival in London in May, which will be held in-person for the first time since 2019.

Others representing Aotearoa New Zealand on the juries are Simon Vicars, CCO, Colenso BBDO (Experiential) and Arch MacDonnell, creative director (Graphic Design).

The D&AD Awards are recognised globally as the ultimate creative accolade, entered and judged by the best from around the world. Entries for the awards are open until Wednesday 15 March 2023. More about the categories and how to enter here.
