NEW YORK & PARIS, Today: Samsung emerges as a leading creative global force in technology, according to AdForum’s 6th Business Creative Report, a ranking of the world’s most awarded ads – which names DDB Tribal NZ’s & Cheil China’s as the world’s best tech ads in 2022.
“AdForum crunches the data and I write the text,” says Mark Tungate, the Paris-based organiser of the global Epica Awards – judged by journalists (including M+AD ed David Gapes).
AdForum is basically a ranking of the most awarded ads in the world last year, by industry sector.
This year’s report was launched in partnership with Kantar Media.
“In a bold move to get Apple fans around the world to experience the Samsung interface, Tribal Aotearoa has created iTest.”
Tungate wrote: “In a bold move to get Apple fans around the world to experience the Samsung interface, DDB group’s Tribal Aotearoa New Zealand has created iTest.
“More than 5.5 million Apple users from 234 countries have downloaded iTest, an app that appears to transform your iPhone into a Samsung.”
This year’s report is based on the results of more than 40 awards shows, both local and global.
