Full-service marketing agency, Attain, has announced the formation of an artificial intelligence (AI) team which aims to help clients get the most from the tool.
“We see AI as the future,” says Attain CEO Sharn Piper. “Houses used to be built by hand, but now, there are so many tools available like nail guns and other machinery to make the job easier. It is no different to marketing.”
After cautiously trialling AI over the last couple of years, they have seen how it can improve efficiencies, make content better and more engaging, and ultimately, make a big difference to outcomes for clients.
“We’ve been working hard on becoming experts in how to use various AI tools to ensure we can drive efficiencies and put out a better product than what has previously been done, and keep us – and more importantly, our clients – ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving world.
“We were an early adopter of Jasper since before it was Jasper, and ChatGBT for ideation and content creation. With these AI tools now becoming prominent and more accessible, we also gave our entire team the challenge of creating a piece of art to present at our AI Art Showcase. If we did an Art Show without AI, I can guarantee you the results would be a lot different to what we had.”
Attain’s Chief of Operations, Jonathan Wrait, adds that the move will help the team continue to provide innovative solutions to clients that are tailored specifically for their needs.
“We have a cross-discipline, dedicated team of writers, designers, digital specialists and videographers, who utilise AI to not only increase efficiencies, but to also allow more time for creativity.”
As early adopters of AI, Piper says it is a direct reflection of their mission to create remarkable businesses.
“Our approach to everything has been to never settle for what everyone else has always said and done,” says Piper.
“New Zealand has been traditionally very poor around productivity. AI is just a tool that when harnessed properly, can help your business become far more efficient. Why would we not want to be part of that?”
Rather than being used as a tool to replace the skills that humans offer, Piper sees it more as a way to save time and allow employees to be more creative.
“What we know is that people are at the heart of what we do. If we give them the right tools, they can do anything. So, AI allows you to focus on that.”
The AI team aims to further strengthen Attain’s ability to deliver meaningful results for its clients while improving efficiency.
“We are excited about this new venture,” says Piper. “We believe that it will enable us to continue providing the best services and solutions for our people.”
