Tourism New Zealand has expanded its recent worldwide ‘If You Seek’ initiative by emphasising Aotearoa New Zealand as a distinctive business events location, far from the ordinary.
“Business events are a key pillar of Aotearoa New Zealand’s tourism industry,” says Tourism New Zealand’s General Manager NZ & Business Events, Bjoern Spreitzer.
“Business events attendees are high-quality visitors who ultimately contribute to New Zealand’s tourism sector in ways beyond just the economic benefit. They tend to spend more than the usual visitor and visit in off-peak seasons, but they also bring valuable knowledge, interest in our culture and communities, and networking opportunities to New Zealand.”
The initiative showcases New Zealand’s state-of-the-art convention centers, extraordinary conference venues, delectable food and wine experiences, as well as some thrilling transportation options, as unexpected adventures.
This campaign is in line with Tourism New Zealand’s ‘If You Seek’ global campaign, which promotes New Zealand as a destination that fosters exceptional and significant relationships with individuals, culture, and the environment.
Heath Davy, CEO, Yarn, says: “We’ve enjoyed working collaboratively with TNZ’s offshore teams in the US, UK, Europe, and Asia to adapt Tourism New Zealand’s ‘If You Seek’ campaign, devised by DDB Aotearoa and RUN, for the different markets.
“Alongside the hero campaign video and static content, we’ve helped create bespoke immersive sensorial experiences at trade and road show events around the globe, tempting our audiences with a glimpse of what awaits them here in Aotearoa.”
