Urban List, a prominent lifestyle publisher, has partnered with Animates, the top pet retail store in New Zealand, to introduce Urban List Pets.
This new platform is the ultimate guide for pet owners who want to enjoy the best of urban and suburban living with their furry companions.
The move comes as the number of pet owners who read Urban List grows with over 73 percent of its audience having at least one or more pets, over-indexing the population by 114 percent and Animates quickly saw an opportunity.
“Partnering with Urban List is a natural extension of our purpose to make the world a happier place through the love of pets. It seamlessly presents Animates with the perfect opportunity to connect with and engage a rapidly growing community of pet lovers outside of our own channels. We are extremely excited to work with them to showcase the very best that Animates has to offer and to solidify Animates as the trusted source for all things pet related,” Animates General Manager Marketing, Nathalie Moolenschot says.
As a result of the partnership, Urban List will scale its content offering, to better recognise the needs of the 65 percent of New Zealand-based pet-parents who often shop for their pets online; as well those wanting to see and do more with their fur-babies.
NZ Commercial Manager, Rebecca Murphy says Urban List NZ is deeply committed to its community.
“Our dedicated, on-the-ground team are constantly seeking out new ways to connect to our readers and becoming more important in their lives, launching Urban List Pets is another example of how we are growing with them.”
Hearts & Science NZ General Manager, Cassidy Meredith says: “Animates needed a digitally lead media partnership that could showcase the brands’ purpose to a highly engaged audience of pet owners. Urban List ticked all the boxes, and we can’t wait to see the partnership maximise its potential in creating connections that truly matter.“
Urban List Pets is now live.
