AUCKLAND, Today: The Comms Council has partnered with industry social-purpose organisation UnLtd for the Charity/Not for Profit category in this year’s Effie Awards.
Comms Council communications manager Axl Arthur said: “This partnership underscores the council’s commitment to recognising and honouring effective marketing campaigns that drive positive change and support charitable causes.
“UnLtd is dedicated to creating social impact by connecting the media, marketing, and creative industries with charities helping young people at risk.
“With their extensive network and expertise in social purpose marketing, UnLtd empowers brands and agencies to make a difference through their campaigns, leveraging creativity and strategic thinking for the greater good.”

The Effie Awards, known for their recognition of marketing effectiveness, will showcase campaigns in the Charity/Not for Profit category that have demonstrated outstanding results in supporting charitable organisations and initiatives.
Axl Arthur: “These campaigns have not only raised awareness but also inspired action and made a significant difference in the lives of those in need.
“Entries for the 2023 Effie Awards, in association with TVNZ, are now open. This presents a unique opportunity for marketers and advertisers in the charity and not-for-profit sectors to showcase their impactful campaigns and effective marketing strategies, receiving well-deserved recognition for their contributions to society. The early bird submission deadline is Wednesday 2 August, offering entrants a discounted rate. The final deadline for submissions (fees apply) is Wednesday 9 August.
