Harvey Cameron expands team as digital offering drives growth

Following increased demand for its combined digital marketing and web development capability, business and marketing solutions agency Harvey Cameron has made a raft of appointments.

Joining the team includes Tim McConnell, Head of Web Development and Design, Callum Radford, UX/UI Designer, Digital Account Managers Anna Parker and Rosa Dalgleish, and Digital Media Planner Karishma Walia, Web Developers Michelle Wu and Tim Williams, plus Senior Copywriter Ian Sweeny and Digital Projects Coordinator Hannah Sandilands.

The rapidly growing team is led by General Manager James Duggan, working closely with Creative Director Alan Kang.

Duggan said adding to the agency’s digital and creative teams would “ensure we build online experiences that respect and enhance brands, while delivering seamless integration between the digital and offline world”.

“Now more than ever before, customers expect a seamless, frictionless user and brand experience across all channels – but especially digital.   To achieve this, it’s vital that brands focus on the digital experience as a whole, across the entire customer journey, rather than in silos,” he explained.

“To achieve this, we’ve worked hard to bring together a team of experts that can integrate digital experience, conversion/e-commerce, digital media, plus retention and lifetime value.  It’s a wide-ranging combination to offer along with strategy and creative, but we’re finding the market is responding positively to the opportunity.”

Harvey Cameron Managing Director Gareth O’Connor said with market conditions tightening, it was also important to offer clients a “streamlined capability”.

“As the market get tougher, we’re finding that brands are looking for greater efficiencies across all platforms and channels.  By ensuring we have strong and proven skills across both digital marketing and web development, along with our established strategy, creative, ecommerce and CRM capabilities, we can provide a combined offering within one team, and one location.  This provides businesses with the adaptability a tight market needs.”

O’Connor said the increased resource will work with the creative team and wider agency to ensure the end-to-end digital experience seamlessly complements and enhances the entire customer experience across all touchpoints.

Harvey Cameron is part of Attivo, a marketing services group with agencies in Christchurch, Auckland, Sydney and Perth.
