Special PR expands its team with the appointment of two new hires, Georgie Zonneveld and Harry Willis as PR Directors.
Zonneveld joins Special PR from Mango with almost a decade’s worth of experience as a PR consultant.
Having worked in both Australian and New Zealand markets, she has led campaigns for a range of global and local brands, including Netflix, Nespresso, Beats by Dre, Patrón, Grey Goose, Icebreaker and Nestlé.
At Special PR, Zonneveld’s remit is to help deliver strategic and creative PR solutions for key accounts across the consumer portfolio, including KFC and Pizza Hut.
“I’ve always been impressed by Special PR’s distinctive approach to campaigns, blending ambitious and creative ideas with a clear strategic purpose.
“This is an exciting next step for me in my career, and I’m excited to join the team to deliver some of the country’s most impactful and fame-driving campaigns,” Zonneveld says.
Willis joins from Wright Communications, where he led a wide range of campaigns and worked with global brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Unilever and Glad.
Willis will work across Special PR’s lifestyle accounts, including Jaguar Land Rover, Tourism Fiji and DB Breweries.
“Special have been on their A-Game from the get-go, so I leapt at the chance to join the team,” Willis says.
“The agency is firmly in growth mode, with some really exciting projects in the pipeline. I’m thrilled to now officially be a part of the team delivering world-class work, and looking forward to adding value to our clients.”
The pair join Special PR following the agency being named ‘PR Agency of the Year’ by Campaign Asia, along with gold and silver accolades from the Effie and Pressie Awards.
Kelly Grindle, Managing Director at Special PR, says, “Special PR has been through a remarkable period of growth since its inception three years ago and we’re thrilled to keep the momentum going with the appointment of Georgie and Harry as PR Directors.”
