AUCKLAND, Today: DoorDash, an on-demand delivery platform, has launched The Unofficial Deal of the Games We Can’t Name campaign with creative agency FEDERATION.
From July 26 to August 12, DoorDash supports Kiwi sports fans with $ 1 deals from selected restaurants each time New Zealand wins a medal. Deb the DoorDash Lawyer stars in TV, OOH, radio, and social ads, keeping DoorDash within strict branding guidelines.
DoorDash and FEDERATION produced four 15” ad spots featuring Deb, marking DoorDash’s first TV appearance in New Zealand.
“DoorDash is a true challenger brand. We had fun with ‘Deb the DoorDash Lawyer’ and rewarding Kiwis during the games.” – Brad Collett
Bradley Thomas, GM of DoorDash NZ, says, “Here at DoorDash, we are all about thinking outside of the box and testing the boundaries. We also recognise how important the games we can’t name are to Kiwis and we wanted to inject ourselves into the celebration of the event.
“That’s why we have teamed up with the incredible minds at FEDERATION, to raise awareness across the nation to ensure Kiwis don’t miss out on these $ 1 deals – when our Kiwi athletes medal.”
Brad Collett, CCO of FEDERATION, adds, “DoorDash is a true challenger brand. We had fun with Deb the DoorDash Lawyer and rewarding Kiwis during the games. It’s been a great team effort, and we’re excited to see the response.”
