UnLtd Aotearoa challenges you to drop your boss

AUCKLAND, Today: UnLtd Aotearoa, the social purpose organisation for New Zealand’s media, marketing, and creative industries, has launched a new initiative encouraging the industry to drop your boss—all for a good cause.

The organisation recently announced the Graeme Dingle Foundation as their new charity partner. This leading youth development charity empowers young people in Aotearoa to succeed and overcome challenges in life.

Founded almost 30 years ago by Sir Graeme Dingle and Jo-anne Wilkinson, Lady Dingle, the Foundation impacts over 27,000 young people each year through programmes designed to build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.

“We are thrilled to partner with Graeme Dingle Foundation and being able to help them grow awareness and funding for the critical work they do.” – Sheryl Dunlop

Sheryl Dunlop, General Manager of UnLtd Aotearoa, expressed her excitement: “We are thrilled to partner with Graeme Dingle Foundation and being able to help them grow awareness and funding for the critical work they do.”

One of the foundation’s major fundraisers is the annual drop your boss event, where leaders take a daring leap off Auckland’s Sky Tower to support young people. This unique event gives leaders a chance to face their fears, just like the youth in the foundation’s programmes.

Dunlop added, “We know our industry likes a challenge and who wouldn’t like to occasionally ‘drop their boss,’ especially when it’s for a good cause! This is such a unique, empowering and fun way to challenge yourself whilst doing good.”

Jo Malcolm-Black, CEO of Graeme Dingle Foundation, is equally excited: “We are so excited to partner with UnLtd and the wider Aotearoa media industry to help us reach even more young Kiwis who need support.”
