AUCKLAND, Today: oOh!media New Zealand is excited to announce the expansion of its Street Furniture network into New Plymouth, bringing 14 new bus shelter sites to the Taranaki region.
This addition means oOh!’s Street Furniture network now covers 8 regions and 13 cities across New Zealand, reaching nearly 300 suburbs. In Taranaki alone, the network will connect with over 119,000 Kiwis each month, generating more than 10 million audience contacts over four weeks.
This expansion presents a valuable opportunity for advertisers to tap into Taranaki’s vibrant culture and growing audience, either by supplementing existing channels or extending Out of Home (OOH) campaigns to include the region.
Nick Vile, General Manager of oOh!media NZ, shared: “The new Taranaki sites offer an exciting opportunity for advertisers to reach a broader audience in a thriving regional market.

“With our expanded network, we are enhancing the visibility of both national and local businesses while supporting the community through new public infrastructure.”
He continued, “Further to this, we know from our agency clients and advertising partners that there is an increasing demand to deliver audiences nationally beyond just main mets and deliver this new audience in a way that makes it easy to transact. Our continued expansion into new regions delivers on this premise.”
New Plymouth District Council Chief Executive Gareth Green is thrilled with the new bus shelters, which are funded by advertising, generating revenue for the council and easing the burden on ratepayers.
“We’ve also been able to increase the number of shelters throughout the district for public transport users by repurposing some existing shelters to locations currently without one.”
The new Taranaki Street Furniture network is now live and ready for advertisers.
