NYF teams up with African Cristal for a new creative award

NEW YORK, Friday: The New York Festivals Advertising Awards, in partnership with the African Cristal Festival, are excited to launch the first-ever NYF Cristal Village Award. This new category celebrates creative work that educates and inspires change.

Starting in 2025, the award will recognise creative brand and experiential work that champions positive change. It’s focused on campaigns that show widespread appeal, purpose, and promote cultural understanding.

A panel of esteemed jurors, led by Justin Thomas-Copeland of the African Cristal Festival, will evaluate the entries. They’re looking for pioneering work that makes a real impact.

Justin Thomas-Copeland said, “Creativity broadens horizons, excites, and educates, this collaboration with New York Festivals embodies that. I can’t wait to see the work.

“By submitting entries, agencies and brands will directly fund young African talent from across the continent to attend the African Cristal Festival in Morocco. It could be the spark to change their lives!”
