AUCKLAND, Today: Glenmorangie is making waves in New Zealand with its biggest campaign yet, featuring cinematic legend Harrison Ford. The actor’s signature wit shines in a series of episodic films.
Once Upon a Time in Scotland, directed by Joel Edgerton, follows Ford’s journey to Glenmorangie’s Highland distillery. He experiences Scottish traditions, whisky craftsmanship, and kilt etiquette—guided by the real Glenmorangie team.
Filmed in Scotland’s breathtaking Highlands, the campaign showcases Tain’s historic distillery, Ardross Castle, and the dramatic landscapes of Loch Glass.
Lisa Mackenzie, General Manager of Moët Hennessy New Zealand said, “We’re thrilled to bring whisky aficionados our new unconventional Glenmorangie campaign.
“Collaborating with Harrison Ford has been a dream come true—he is a genuine single malt whisky fan and appreciates the craft that goes into making every bottle of Glenmorangie. As someone with far-reaching appeal and a passionate and unique storyteller, he has certainly stamped a distinctive and authentic mark on this campaign.”
“We hope New Zealanders enjoy exploring the episodes and learning more about the real people and places behind our whiskies, through Harrison’s eyes.”

Harrison Ford added, “I loved working with the team at the Distillery—they were all great. The whole process of filming was full of unanticipated joys: little unexpected moments.
“It’s a tribute to Glenmorangie’s sensibilities that they let us be less than totally serious. I think what Joel has produced has a certain charm to it, because it’s unpretentious and just amusing.”
A New Take on Glenmorangie’s Signature Whisky
To mark the campaign launch, Glenmorangie has introduced The Original 12 Years Old in New Zealand. This smoother, creamier take on its flagship whisky brings even more depth and richness.
Swirling with creamy vanilla, citrus, honey, and peach, this single malt elevates Glenmorangie’s signature flavours to new heights.
Glenmorangie Infinita Gets a Luxurious New Look
Glenmorangie has also rebranded its award-winning 18-year-old whisky as Infinita 18 Years Old. Showcasing floral notes, honey, dried fruits, and spice, it’s regarded by creator Dr Bill Lumsden as his most beautifully balanced whisky.
Both The Original 12 Years Old and Infinita 18 Years Old are available at premium liquor stores across New Zealand.
