Strategic communications agency Thrive PR & Communications has announced its leadership team and a string of new talent.

The changes come following a year marked by client growth, new client wins, hires, promotions and the delivery of some of the country’s most culturally significant events.

New Thrive appointments in the creative and culture team include:

These new appointments have been announced as the agency’s Excess Earned Attention framework continues to drive the agency’s growth across Australia and NZ.

The framework is designed to generate impact beyond conventional earned, owned and paid media. It focuses on creating moments that attract disproportionate levels of attention and measurable outcomes.

Basire says: “We’re committed to pushing the boundaries of Excess Earned Attention and delivering communications that move markets.”

Creating meaningful moments for audiences

Leilani Abels, founder and CEO of Thrive, says: “Thrive is famous for delivering impactful storytelling that drives earned media and earned attention for its clients. However, this year we have upped the ante with a new excess framework.

“With our partners, Thrive has delivered so many campaigns in 2025 that were unmissable – demonstrating Excess Earned Attention in action with new metrics and results that have been outstanding for clients.”
