Contagion has appointed Jake Calder as digital performance and innovation lead.
Calder is a recognised leader in technology and digital innovation and brings expertise in using artificial intelligence to transform marketing strategies. He is also the 2025 recipient of IAB New Zealand’s award for best use of generative AI.
With a career spanning leadership roles at MBM, OMD and FCB, Calder has been a key player in programmatic media, performance marketing and AI-driven automation. He also served as chair of IAB New Zealand’s Emerging Tech Council, shaping industry standards and championing innovation.
Remaining ahead of the curve
Calder will collaborate closely with Contagion general manager Suzanne Breslin with whom he worked with previously at OMD. Their partnership combines strategic leadership and technical expertise, facilitating the delivery of smarter, faster and more impactful campaigns for clients.
Breslin says she is delighted to have Calder on board.
