Flying Fish welcomes Alva Casey

Production company Flying Fish is welcoming Alva Casey in a key role overseeing the company’s content division Fish&Clips and stills photography roster Fanclub.

Casey will work closely with executive producers James Moore and Samantha Attenborough, helping guide and grow both rosters.

Her appointment reflects Flying Fish’s continued investment in talent and long-term growth across its expanding slate, alongside the core roster of directors.

Incredible energy

In her role, Casey will focus on managing existing and nurturing new talent while retaining relationships with clients and collaborators.

With experience across agency, production and post-production, Casey brings a broad and practical understanding of the creative industry. She has worked with some of New Zealand’s most recognised agencies and clients, spent time within boutique production companies and most recently held an integrated producer role at Colenso BBDO.

“Alva brings an incredible energy and positivity to the team,” says Attenborough.

“Her passion for the industry, combined with her production knowledge and people-first approach, makes her an invaluable addition. We’re really excited about what this year can bring, not just in terms of growth, but in how we continue to support and develop the talent we represent.”

Excited for what is ahead

Moore adds: “As is with our close NZ industry, we have known Alva a very long time, working with her many times over the years. Having her in an integral role at Flying Fish now is already a perfect fit for us, thanks to her warmth and professionalism. We’re all super chuffed to have her in the whanau.”

Casey says she is delighted to be joining the Fish team.

“It is a production company I have always admired and loved collaborating with. Their current talent are extraordinary and I cannot wait to see what we do together.”
