AUCKLAND, Today: A stronger regional brief has seen dentsu expand its work with Tapestry, Inc., taking on global agency of record duties outside the United States.
The appointment covers full media planning and buying for Coach and Kate Spade across APAC and EMEAI, with work spanning Japan, China, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.
The expanded remit builds on dentsu’s existing partnership in China and follows two separate pitch processes, first in EMEAI, then APAC. The win also sees dentsu replace several incumbent agencies across multiple markets.
“APAC is a priority growth region for Tapestry and our brands. As we continue to accelerate across the region, having the right media partner is critical.
“Throughout the pitch process, dentsu stood out for their deep understanding of our brands, strong local market insight, and ability to translate strategic ambition into meaningful consumer connections,” said Kylene Campos, Senior Vice President of Brand and Growth Strategy APAC, Tapestry Inc.
“Building on our successful collaboration in China, we are confident that dentsu’s connected capabilities, cultural intelligence, and regional expertise will help Coach and Kate Spade deepen relevance with consumers and drive sustainable growth across APAC.”
