Overdose. claims two top accolades at Google Awards

Overdose. has racked up two major honours at the recent Google AUNZ Premier Partner Awards, taking out Partner of the Year for both Online Sales and Account Team categories.

The Awards programme recognised Overdose’.s work over the past 18 months to drive e-commerce sales for its diverse portfolio of clients – including household names such as Patagonia, Ethique, French Connection, Fossil, ASICS, RJ Living, Ecostore and Signet – within a rapidly changing retail landscape.

“The unprecedented disruption over the past couple of years has reinforced the need to continuously test, innovate, and adapt digital marketing strategies to drive e-commerce sales for brands,” says Sam Sherson, Chief Marketing Officer at Overdose.

Overdose.’s work with iconic fashion brand Seed Heritage highlights this, with judges recognising a partnership that from April 2020 accelerated a rapid shift to eCommerce for the retailer. An extensive digital strategy for Seed Heritage was executed across multiple channels, delivering both short term ROAS and increased brand awareness for longer-term growth.

Aaron Gard, Head of Digital at Brandbank (owner of Seed Heritage) says: “Overdose. were able to dramatically improve our presence across multiple channels and put in place several different digital marketing strategies in a short time frame to support our business objectives, which were evolving rapidly throughout the early weeks of the pandemic. This effort resulted in significant growth across all key digital metrics, and supported our brands to reach new highs, by all measures of success.”

John Ball, Managing Director at Google Customer Solutions AUNZ says: “We are delighted to award Overdose. as winners of both the Account Team and Online Sales category at the 2021 Google Premier Partner Awards. The standard of entries this year was incredibly high and it is great to see the Overdose. team take out these two awards, demonstrating a best in class account team with the capability to help clients navigate a fast-changing consumer landscape. We were impressed with the long term partnership that Overdose. built with the client featured in their awards submission and the full funnel approach taken to build a sustainable e-commerce business. Congratulations to the entire Overdose team and looking forward to an even bigger 2022!”

Overdose. now employs over 450 people across 11 offices worldwide, offering brands a full suite of commerce services encompassing strategy, experience, technology, performance marketing, SEO and data.
