AUCKLAND, Today: Tennis Auckland announced at the 100 Years of Stanley Street Gala Dinner at the weekend that Go Media has signed on as the out-of-home media partner for the next three years to help promote New Zealand’s premiere tournament.
Go Media will also be taking an active role in helping fundraise for the multi-million dollar roof project that was also announced the same night.
Go Media MD Mike Gray said: “The ASB Classic is a fantastic event on the Auckland sports calendar and we’re looking forward to hosting clients as its always such a great day out.
“They will bring awareness to our fundraising efforts to build a roof over Stanley Street, and ensure the long-term future of the tournament.”
“I was a top player in my youth and whilst a professional career didn’t happen for me, I’ve never lost my love of watching the game, especially if it’s from a courtside box.”
Tennis Auckland ceo Rohan West said: “Go Media have an amazing digital network across New Zealand, and with that reach they can help us achieve our goal to increase the number of spectators to the tournament from out of region, so we can have a measurable impact on the local economy.
“They will also help us promote the sport locally and bring awareness to the fundraising efforts we have just started, to enable a roof to be built over Stanley Street, to ensure the long term future of the tournament for the next 100 years.”
