Honda NZ introduces new models with campaign via Rainger and Rolfe

Following the success of the all-new Honda ZR-V launch, Honda New Zealand has relaunched its sixth generation CR-V with three new models, including a new best-in-class hybrid e:HEV, via Ranger and Rolfe and Wavemaker Media.

The launch campaign includes a wide range of channels including BVOD, OOH, social and digital. A plethora of collateral and signage around the Honda stores supporting Honda Ambassadors and the nationwide Honda Dealer network was also produced.

Honda NZ MD Nobuya Sonoda says: “We wanted a campaign that promotes our wonderful new CR-V, and communicates the joy of driving Honda. Demand has exceeded expectations and awareness is well up. We’ve also recently advanced a major refresh of the Honda Online Store to accelerate the understanding of what car buying in the future can look like.”

R&R Creative Director Kelly Putter says they wanted to develop a campaign that was “striking, beautiful and gets noticed” while also incorporating Honda’s key brand message ‘the power of dreams’.

“More style, more sophistication and more value. All of which we delivered with the creation of a dreamy yet dynamic animated fish, and bold direct messaging that delivers the core proposition.”
