Dentsu and Alliance Media execs to speak at Africa Forum

AUCKLAND, Today: The World Out of Home Organisation is gearing up for its inaugural Africa Forum in Cape Town, slated for 11-13 March 2024. Featured speakers include Dawn Rowlands from dentsu and Greg Benatar from Alliance Media.

Dawn Rowlands has been instrumental in expanding dentsu’s team from 40 to 1500, establishing her leadership across 30 markets. Her influential roles on the dentsu global board for Social Impact and as a board member of Loeries Middle East Africa demonstrate her significant industry influence.

Greg Benatar leads Alliance Media, the largest OOH media owner in Africa. His management of a vast network of 25,000 billboards across 50 countries and his focus on innovation, standardisation, and a common OOH currency have been pivotal in the industry’s growth.

“We are delighted to have two key players from the buy and sell sides of the industry.”

Their presentations will tackle the complexities of the African OOH landscape, discussing market challenges, opportunities, and the sector’s role within the broader media landscape, aiming to foster growth and mutual benefits for all stakeholders.

WOO CMO Richard Saturley expressed his anticipation, stating, “We are delighted to have two key players from the buy and sell sides of the industry. They will be providing fresh insights from a unique pan-African perspective into the development of OOH in Africa.”

This landmark forum is set to become a catalyst for growth and collaboration, offering a platform for industry leaders to share insights and shape the future of the OOH industry in the diverse and evolving African market.
