Communications and marketing agency Anthem is celebrating another award for its campaign highlighting the chronic underfunding and challenges facing New Zealand’s aged care sector.
Anthem was the only Kiwi agency recognised in the 2024 PR Awards Asia-Pacific last week, where its campaign, “The Domino Effect”, was awarded gold in the Public Affairs category.
In May, “The Domino Effect” was recognised at the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) Awards, where it won silver in the Government Relations category Awards, as well as at the PR Week Global Awards where it won highly commended in the Non-Profit category.
“We’re thrilled to have received the Gold Award in the Public Affairs Category at PR Awards Asia-Pacific,” says Sarah Geel, Head of Integrated Communications at Anthem.
“Our ‘Domino Effect’ campaign for the Aged Care Association NZ raised critical awareness for the challenges facing the sector, but – importantly – played a pivotal role in influencing policy change which will deliver better outcomes for our older New Zealanders.”
Anthem’s work with Doppelmayr was also celebrated at the recent PRINZ awards, highlighting the potential of aerial cable cars as a sustainable transportation solution.
