Go Media welcomes new team members

Outdoor media independent Go Media has hired a range of new talent across operations, tech and sales, to fuel its momentum into the future.

The new positions recognise Go Media’s expanding asset base, which includes 120 digital billboards, 150 classic billboards, 500 buses plus Wellington train and transport hub networks, as well as its aspiration to provide customers with best-in-class solutions and service levels.

The new recruits include:

Ashley Edge joins the sales team as an Account Director. Previously employed by MediaWorks and Waka Kotahi, she brings ample outdoor sales expertise.

Emily Grace Mackinnon is Go Media’s newly minted Systems Specialist. Previously at Toniq and One NZ, Emily brings expertise in optimising systems and workflows.

Jamie Allen joins as Marketing Director to take the Go Media brand, trade and sponsorship marketing programmes to the next level. Jamie was previously at Chemist Warehouse and Bunnings.

Larissa Welford who was Junior Ad Operations Excellence Winner – IAB Awards 2023, has recently been promoted to a new role of Screen Specialist.

Lizzie Westgate joins the sales team as an Account Director of independent agencies. Lizzie brings a wealth of experience in digital and outdoor media, having previously been with Kargo Digital, MediaWorks, and SCA Digital in Melbourne.

Rhiannon MacCreadie (Ngati Porou) joins the marketing team as Sponsorship Coordinator, looking after account management of sports, arts, community, and charity organisations across the motu.

Shane Wallace has been brought in house as the Technology, Development & Innovation Lead. Shane previously led Go Media’s Proof of Posting automation project and is brimming with ideas to integrate the latest ad-technology offerings with digital out of home. Shane brings 15 years’ experience in tech, most recently as a full stack developer.

Sophia Choma joins the operations team as Operations Coordinator.
