AUCKLAND, Today: Chorus and Saatchi & Saatchi NZ have launched a playful new campaign highlighting the hidden downsides of wireless broadband. Spoiler alert: sharing isn’t always caring—especially with your internet connection.
Wireless broadband might sound like a solid alternative to fibre, but it comes with a catch. Users share bandwidth with others on the same cell tower, often leading to slower speeds and annoying interruptions during peak times.
The campaign’s humorous ads show a family grappling with a chaotic mix of neighbours, joggers, influencers, and more—all sharing their connection. Each spot ends with the tagline, Avoid this. Get Fibre.

Directed by Arundati Thandur and produced by FINCH, the TVC is supported by social media cutdowns, OOH, and radio. It’s an informative, light-hearted push to help Kiwis make smarter broadband choices.
