WELLINGTON, Tuesday: With 1.2 million rail trips per month across their train network, Wellington has the highest percentage of citizens using public transport in the country. To reach these travellers Go Media in partnership with Greater Wellington Regional Council have just installed overhead interior panels.
Go Media GM Simon Teagle said: “In addition to audience reach, a key benefit of the interior panels is they deliver an extremely high dwell time of up to 60 minutes, which provides plenty of time for advertisers to engage with their audiences.”
“They deliver a high dwell time of up to 60 minutes.”
The six 1.9m long panels, printed on recyclable materials, are located on every train that runs the Paraparaumu, Johnsonville, Upper Hutt and Melling lines.
The main reason for taking the train is for work at 78%, followed by tertiary education at 6% and school at 3%; 70% of travellers are aged 25-54.
