Out with the old, in with the new (sorry Courtney Devereux)!
StopPress – your essential hub of the communications industry – is excited to welcome Monique McKenzie as senior content editor.
A casualty of the Bauer bust-up, McKenzie joins StopPress from her previous role as features writer at the publisher (and a brief freelancing gig). A media-savvy go-getter, she brings with her much experience working across the marcomms industry at the likes of TVNZ, Newstalk ZB and Undertow Media.
“Having just wrapped up a two-and-a-half-year stint as writer for NEXT magazine and features writer for Good Health & Wellbeing magazine at Bauer Media, I am keen to sink my teeth into this exciting new challenge,” McKenzie says.
Working in various roles at several media companies and within the PR arena helping brands connect with customers, McKenzie knows first-hand the inner workings of the industry.
