Contagion and Villa Maria are to partner on the label’s global social strategy, creative and media campaign.
After a competitive pitch early this year Villa Maria – New Zealand’s most awarded wine brand – announced today its partnership with the integrated creative agency.
“Contagion really got us from the moment we met them. They researched the brand incredibly well, had a unique integrated approach, and were as passionate as we are for what we want to achieve,” says Sarah Szegota, Head of Marketing & Communications at Villa Maria.
Contagion CEO & Founder, Dean Taylor says that the new partnership is a great accolade. “It is a privilege to work on a brand that was one person’s vision back in 1961 and has gone on to gain the status of being one of the best wine brands in the world,” he says.
Whilst Contagion will have a global media strategy, there are country specific opportunities that the agency will work to take advantage of, adds Vanessa Williams, Head of Media Client Service at Contagion.
