
BANGKOK & SYDNEY, Today: Two big international awards shows – ones that usually treat NZ work very fairly – have issued their entry calls this week.
- Thailand’s Adfest Lotus Awards
BANKOK: The deadline for all Lotus categories is Friday 25 December 2020.
Adfest this year launches a new sub-category, Resilience Through Creativity, to reward the best creative ideas across all Lotus categories, which demonstrate the strength of the human spirit in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
There are 20 Lotus categories in total: Audio, Brand Experience, Branded Entertainment, Design, Digital Craft, Digital, Direct, eCommerce, Effective, Film Craft, Film, Innova, Lotus Roots, Media, Mobile, New Director, Outdoor, PR, Press, and Print & Outdoor Craft.
Adfest president Jimmy Lam says details of separate virtual awards ceremonies for the 2020 and 2021 Lotus Awards will be announced soon.

- Australia’s AWARD Awards
SYDNEY: The deadline for the 42nd AWARD IS Friday 11 December. The extended deadline is good till Friday 22 January.
This year AWARD features four new special awards, including the Agency of the Year, Creative or Team of the Year, Director of the Year, and Emerging Indigenous Creative Talent.
A decision on a virtual ceremony will be announced “soon”.
