AUCKLAND, Today: Following a competitive pitch, premium mixer brand Fever-Tree has appointed Boyd PR to handle its media relations and social media in New Zealand. There was no incumbent.
Newmarket-based Boyd and media partner MediaCo have been tasked with developing an earned and paid media strategy to effectively communicate Fever-Tree’s brand values and help grow its marketshare.
Fever-Tree released their first tonic in 2003 with one simple premise: if three quarters of your G&T is the tonic, wouldn’t you want it to be the best?
Since then, the company has expanded its drinks portfolio to include gingers, colas, lemonades, and sodas.
“Boyd PR’s experience with earned media relations and social media is ultimately why we selected them.”
Fever-Tree brand manager Mathew Jamieson said: “The company has ambitious growth plans over the next few years and is excited to have BPR and MediaCo on board.
“Fever-Tree has largely driven growth in the mixer category in recent years, so it’s important that we continue to stand out in what is quickly becoming a crowded market.
“Boyd PR’s experience and success with earned media relations and social media is ultimately why we selected them to help grow our business.”
Boyd PR MD John Boyd said: “It has been a busy first half of the year with existing clients continuing to ramp up activity and Fever-Tree being just one of several new client wins.”
