Arvida, Augusto partner on new offering

Augusto has partnered with retirement and aged care provider Arvida for the launch of their latest campaign, Good Friends.

A determination to challenge the retirement industry has seen Arvida launch their new ‘Arvida Good Friends’ membership service in Christchurch. This gives older Cantabrians access to their new Living Well Community Centre, private home helpers, and rideshare transport to enable people to remain living independently while creating social connections.

To launch this initiative, the campaign will play out across Canterbury in cinemas, digital, press, and radio that aims to give older Kiwis the choice to have all the freedom they need to “Keep doing you”.

Commercial Director at Augusto, Amy Dufty, says: “We are excited to begin a new relationship with Arvida.

“The team approached us as a challenger brand in a rather competitive category to showcase a new approach and we were delighted to take on the challenge.”

ECD at Augusto, Adam Thompson, adds: “Whilst it’s easy to fall into the familiar old person ad style, we wanted to create a campaign that was modern, uplifting and much more relatable for our audience.”

Arvida’s Head of Brand Kylie Gibson says: “We all know someone older who wants to keep living in the home they love but now needs some form of support or who needs more ways to be socially connected.

“Augusto were not only up for the challenge of launching our new offering but were fully invested in producing a campaign we are all proud of.

“We are delighted with Augusto’s ability to tell such a heart-warming story, that emotionally connects to our audiences in such an authentic way and even more so, the pace at which it all came together. That’s why we are excited to be partnering with them, including the roll out of the Arvida Good Friends brand.”
