AUCKLAND, Today: NZ software business Propellerhead (and its associated company Avid AML) has appointed Mango Aotearoa to provide corporate communications expertise.
Propellerhead is one of New Zealand’s leading software developers, having designed, delivered and maintained large-scale platforms for Auckland Transport, Fonterra, NZ Rugby, Spark and the Ministry of Education for 20 years.
Andrew Weston, MD of Propellerhead and co-founder of Avid AML, said: “Now attracting talent is a priority for us in a tight labour market, and Mango has been engaged to cement the company’s standing as a destination employer for senior developers.
“Mango helped launch Avid AML in March. The anti-money laundering company was co-founded in 2019 by Weston with Propellerhead’s developers behind Avid AML’s software.
“We were impressed with Mango’s work and quickly appointed the team to support Propellerhead’s goal to attract new talent.”
“Earlier this year we appointed Mango to help us introduce Avid AML to New Zealand and other markets internationally.
“We were impressed with Mango’s work and quickly appointed the team to support Propellerhead’s goal to attract new talent. They will also continue to manage public relations for Avid AML ongoing.”
Mango MD Claudia Macdonald said: “Our winning streak in the corporate and B2B space continues apace with projects for Propellerhead and Avid AML.
We are thrilled that after the successful launch of Avid AML, we have also been given the opportunity to build a tactical PR and social strategy for Propellerhead.”
