AUCKLAND, Today: Special has appointed Claire Bradbourne to help develop the group globally, working with Special partners across all offices to help create a world class and consistent brand, to aid growth.
Most recently, Bradbourne was GM of strategy at Dentsu NZ, leading the ASB Bank account and strategy across Dentsu’s creative and media lines of business.
At Dentsu, a highlight was the Borrow the All Blacks campaign, which won six Golds at AWARD Australia.
She is a highly accomplished strategist with the ability to build and deliver marketing strategies across categories – from big banks to boutique luxury brands. Claire has held senior roles at Saatchi & Saatchi, Colenso and AKQA in London.
Special founder (and Special NZ ceo/CCO) Tony Bradbourne said: “Claire has the smartest marketing brain I know.
“This is not just a proud husband saying this – the sensational job she’s done with ASB Bank is pretty good proof.”
“This is not just a proud husband saying this, the sensational job she has done with ASB Bank over the past 12 months is pretty good proof.
“Sadly for her, though, I bore her constantly about Special, so it’s great that she’s finally agreed to join the company and help turn all that talk into action.”
Special AU partner/ceo Lindsey Evans said: “Claire is a great human with a big brain, intuitive heart and incredible energy. She will make a huge impact on the brand and business; making a meaningful difference to and for everyone within the group.”
Claire Bradbourne said: “I love the work that Special creates; it has such ambition to it, and it’s very exciting that this ambition is being recognised in the world and further realised with the recent opening of two more Special offices in LA and Melbourne.
“The talent within the group is mindblowing.”
Claire Bradbourne is based in the Auckland office. Her appointment is effective immediately.
