AUCKLAND, Tuesday: Mt Eden-based PR shop Botica Butler Raudon has added two experienced professional practitioners to its roster – Adlena Oh-Wong and Irena Beddington-Behrens.
Director Fred Russo said: “Adlena Oh-Wong brings with her more than 12 years’ experience in communications and journalism in local and multinational companies based in Singapore.
“She has held roles in consultancies servicing consumer and corporate clients such as BBC Worldwide, Bacardi-Martini, Grohe, Bintan Resorts, Singapore Institute of Directors, and Golden Village, as well as in-house positions in L’Oreal, DHL and Standard Chartered Bank.
“She also co-founded a boutique practice, Platform PR, for several years before shuttering it to prepare for her move to New Zealand three years ago.
“Earlier Adlena worked as a lifestyle journalist for one of Singapore’s leading media companies and continues to hone her writing skills freelancing for publications such as Elle, Shape and Tatler Homes, Singapore, and most recently, as a content producer at an HR and learning startup, SmartUp.
She is a graduate from the WKW School of Communications in Nanyang Technological University and holds a diploma in translation from the Singapore Chinese Chamber Institute of Business.

And Irena Beddington-Behrens has joined as an intern while she completes her final year at Auckland University where she is majoring in politics and philosophy.
Ruso: “She has an Associate of Trinity College London in Performance and will complete her Licentiate of Trinity in Teaching this year.
“Irena is a talented young practitioner, passionate about human rights and refugee issues. She has worked with the NZ Red Cross and has interned with the Peace Foundation, working on conflict resolution.”
