AUCKLAND, Thursday: Indie creative agency Brandspank, which is based in the CBD, has launched a large-scale brand campaign for property developer Winton.
Brandspank creative partner Kurt Bradley said: “Providing somewhere to live or raise a family is possibly the single biggest issue facing New Zealanders at the moment, it’s constantly in the headlines.
“The great thing about Winton is not only are they building at scale, but they are very conscious of the role a wider neighbourhood has to play in someone’s life satisfaction – alongside a well-designed, healthy home.”
Creative partner Steve Thomson said: “Although Winton build houses, the campaign doesn’t focus on building, bench tops or soft close drawers.
“No one on their deathbed thinks back to what bench top they had – but they might think back with affection on where they grew up and what adventures they got up to.
“I love that a child’s fun is at the heart of the idea – the simple stuff of kids being kids and roaming about and exploring the world.”
Creative will be subtly updated and evolve as the campaign continues keeping things fresh. “It was fun weaving our own personal experiences into the scripts – and Mum is of course very happy her pies got a mention!”
Kurt Bradley said: “Having the right experience and partners involved was critical. Our collaboration with newly minted production company Joy Inc was an important part in developing and executing the creative so beautifully.
“Sneakers Media have done a fantastic job of tailoring a wraparound media solution which is working hard and already delivering results.”
TV, outdoor, digital & social
Alongside primetime spots on TV, the campaign is supported with outdoor, digital and social to be rolled out over the coming months.
Winton is a large-scale property developer providing homes and lifestyles for New Zealanders up and down the country. The ad was shot on location at Northlake, one of Winton’s development sites in Wanaka.
“The strategy was perfect for us; we really enjoyed the process and are very happy with the outcome,” said Winton ceo Chris Meehan.
