AUCKLAND, Today: The Comms Council and sponsor Flying Fish have decided that the 13th Battle of the Ad Bands will now be pushed out to 2022, due to current Covid restrictions in Auckland.
A Comms Council spokesperson said in a release: “The advertising industry’s musical rebels will have to sit tight for another year – a socially-distanced-Zoom function just wasn’t going to cut it.”
A new date for 2023 will be announced in due course.
Botab sponsors include: Giltrap Group, Sixt, Audi E-tron, Whittaker’s, Radio Hauraki, TRB, Prego, Much Moore Ice Cream, Apex Insurance, Fortis Travel and Huffer.
