SYDNEY, Monday: Design collective Blur the Lines Auckland – founded by Comvita Wellness Lab amid the Covid-19 pandemic – has won NZ’s only gold at Australia’s Good Design Awards.
Comvita Wellness Lab won in the Architectural Design category.
Blur the Lines founder/CD Danielle Barclay said receiving this recognition in Australia in the midst of another lockdown in New Zealand was a welcome surprise.
“I am so proud of this project and our continued partnership with Comvita to bring to life world class multi-sensory experiences. Being recognised in such a wide-reaching category as Architectural Design at the Good Design Australia awards is a great honour.”
“The Comvita Wellness Lab is a multi-sensory experience designed to raise awareness of the importance of bees to our environment.”
The 2021 Good Design Awards attracted a record number of submissions with 933 design projects evaluated by 70 Australian and international jurors.
