dentsu creates Managed Isolation

The impending closure of New Zealand’s Quarantine facilities means isolating from home will be a reality for many of us. So, dentsu New Zealand has created Managed Isolation: 22 doses of the finest vodka crafted in accordance with Ministry of Health moderate drinking recommendations to help clients, friends, and anyone who needs a drink while stuck at home, self-isolate responsibly.

Lockdowns and isolation directives have seen New Zealanders drink more than ever before. Managed Isolation is a finely crafted artisan vodka designed to encourage New Zealanders to interrogate their own drinking habits.

Accompanying each bottle is a Managed Isolation Guide™ complete with 10 days of specially selected activities and cocktail recipes to ensure maximum sanity and minimal boredom. These include instruction on how to make imaginary friends and create spiritual connections with the dead, as well as help to communicate with the outside world via digital billboards (thanks to dentsu’s dynamic digital display system D4).

dentsu New Zealand Managing Director Murray Streets says: “At the end of every year, the dentsu Distillery and Designery creates a bottle of spirits to gift to our amazing clients and partners for Christmas. While there is much to celebrate, we’re still very aware that we’re living through one of the toughest times in human history, so we thought it best we arm each other with the tools to get through it. Responsibly, of course.”

Tasting notes of Managed Isolation range from crisp lemon, to nothing at all, depending on your current medical condition. Should the latter be the case, it’s best to cease consumption immediately and consult a medical professional. Failure or refusal to comply with the direction could be an offence under s 72 of the Health Act 1956. But probably isn’t.
