MediaWorks agency team grows

AUCKLAND, Today: MediaWorks has expanded its agency team, welcoming six new people – Amber Conroy, Rebecca Fleet, Sarah Nickson-Clark, Philippa Spence, Charli Farman and Lizzie Westgate.

MediaWorks agency GM Jaana Collins said: “Building a formidable agency sales team in the New Zealand market is a priority in such an exciting time as we prepare to launch Today FM, expand our digital OOH footprint, begin to sell Digital Commons’ product suite, and focus on creating award-winning crafted integrated solutions for our valuable partners.

“This team has fantastic depth, industry experience and fresh thinking for our business and I am thrilled to have them on board.”

Amber Conroy – group business director independent agencies

Collins said: “Amber brings 18 years’ experience in the media industry to MediaWorks, joining from PHD Group after seven years there – most recently as a senior group business director operating a large portfolio of iconic brands. She has knowledge across various sectors including retail, FMCG, finance and entertainment.


“This team has fantastic depth, industry experience and fresh thinking for our business and I am thrilled to have them on board.”


Conroy said: “I’m thrilled to be joining MediaWorks with its strong line-up of successful media brands. My passion lies in connecting brands with consumers in creatively relevant ways and I’m really looking forward to the year ahead.”

Rebecca Fleet – senior account director radio

Fleer has returned to MediaWorks after living in London for the past eight years. She has experience across radio, digital and out-of-home most recently holding the position of group partnerships manager at Global Media & Entertainment. Before leaving New Zealand she was the marketing & promotions manager at George FM.

Sarah Nickson-Clark – account director

Nickson-Clark has been with MediaWorks for 12 years in various roles from marketing to promotions. She is making the move to account director from head of partnerships. She has previously worked across campaigns for NZ Rugby, KFC, Royal NZ Ballet and NZ Cricket.

Philippa Spence (senior account manager), Charli Farman (account manager radio), Lizzie Westgate (Account Manager OOH)

All three bring combined market experience to the team from their time at JCDecaux, NZME, Discovery, and Southern Cross Austereo.
