A new campaign by fintech start-up Dosh has already got people talking, heads turning and apps downloading.
“Get $ 10 just for downloading Dosh is a pretty simple proposition – but it works,” says Dosh co-founder James McEniery.
Dosh have launched a highly visible activation campaign via agency partners Rainger & Rolfe and Tilt Media, designed to raise awareness of its offering.
“Yes we’re the new kid on the block, but we also offer features and benefits others don’t: you can instantly pay someone 24/7 and you can request to be paid from a mate instantly as well.”
McEniery goes on to say: “New Zealanders deserve instant payments and should not have to wait until Monday morning for their wages or payments. At Dosh we believe Kiwis should know where their money is – with access to technology that has existed globally for years – although just not in NZ. Which means right now, the big advantage relates to payments and the sheer speed and convenience to pay and get paid by friends and family. But that’s all about to change with major developments to be announced soon.”
“It’s an exciting time” says McEniery who is seeing acceptance amongst the early adopters and those who are quick to embrace new technology, good ideas and better offers. “Young professionals, millennials, young tradies, self employed, entrepreneurs, plus many, many others … anyone really who just wants something better, easier and faster.“
The campaign rollout includes billboards, radio, and digital channels.
